Furry Friends Feel the Love: Caring 'bout Critters at Christmas Makes a Pawsitive Impact!

In a heartwarming display of holiday spirit, 98.3 The Coast and 103.7 SuperHits COSY-FM recently spearheaded the first annual Caring 'bout Critters at Christmas initiative, leaving an indelible mark on St. Joseph, South Haven, and its surrounding communities. With unwavering support from businesses and individuals alike, this event is a beacon of hope for pets in need during the holiday season in Southwest Michigan.

Community Unity in Action: 100% Sponsor Support and Public Participation

One of the most remarkable aspects of Caring 'bout Critters at Christmas is the overwhelming support from the business community. With 100% sponsor backing, local establishments such as Wolverine Hardware in South Haven, MI, Scottdale True Value in St. Joseph, MI, Renaissance Athletic Club, and The Carpet Shoppe of St. Joe opened their doors as drop-off locations for donations. Dozens of boxes and grocery carts overflowing with pet food, clothing, bedding, supplies, and toys poured in from generous members of the public, reflecting the community's boundless compassion for its furry friends.

Turning Compassion into Action: $253 in Cash Donations to Local Pet Charities

The outpouring of generosity didn't stop at physical donations. With $239 in cash and online contributions, Caring 'bout Critters at Christmas directly extended its support to local pet charities, including Paws of Hope, Al-Van Humane Society, Berrien County Animal Shelter, and Berrien County Animal Control. These funds provide vital resources and assistance to organizations dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need throughout Southwest Michigan.
